Es un procedimiento fácil de realizar donde se requiere sólo la experiencia de la práctica para poder diagnosticar colecciones, no se necesita ser experto en radiología o Ultrasonido, sólo la idea anatómica de las imágenes y poder decir cuando es positivo, negativo o indeterminado.
